Stephen Scaring – Accomplished Attorney
A graduate of C.W. Post College and The Catholic University of America School of Law, Mr. Scaring served as an Assistant District Attorney and Chief of the Homicide Bureau in Nassau County, as well as a Special Prosecutor in Suffolk County. He also has served as an Associate Professor of Law and Psychiatry at C.W. Post College.
Mr. Scaring is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a Member of the New York Council of Defense Lawyers. He has been active in the Nassau County Bar Association (Member), the

Stephen Scaring is engaged in the private practice of law, specializing in criminal law and white collar criminal matters. He was an Assistant District Attorney and Chief of the Homicide Bureau in Nassau County. He served as a Special Prosecutor in Suffolk County, and taught with the title of Associate Professor or Law and Psychiatry at C. W. Post College. He is a Fellow with the American College of Trial Lawyers, a member of the New York Council of Defense Lawyers, former President of the Theodore Roosevelt Inn of Court, and active in many bar associations. Mr. Scaring has been selected by the New York Times to its top 100 list of Super Lawyers in the New York Metropolitan area for the past 6 years and was selected by the New York State Bar Association for the Charles F.
